Not far into the Pumpkin Pastures - before you even complete the first objective - you’ll come to a long wall stretching to the right that seems to lead to nowhere. Soggy Swamp rune location Soggy Swamp rune location. Follow the walkway on the other side to (throw another switch and) collect this rune. Throw it, and then travel through the door that opens. You’ll find a switch in the low stone slabs to the northeast. In the southwest corner of that village, there’s a stone structure.

Most of the way through the level, you’ll reach a village and get a free the villagers objective to release five villagers. Note: The switches you need to throw to reach these runes won’t show up until you visit the hidden temple in your camp (above) and place the first rune.Ĭreeper Woods rune location Creeper Woods rune location. You can also immediately return to your camp (from the pause menu) once you collect them to save even more time. If you’re not looking for any good gear, it’s possible to save some time by cranking the challenge way down and just rushing through. You can collect these runes on the easiest difficulty. The rest are hidden in nine mission levels throughout the world of Minecraft Dungeons.
You’ll already have the first one for completing the story campaign. To access the secret level, you’ll need to collect a total of 10 runes.

Inside the hidden temple in camp, you’ll find a button to place runes. Lower the drawbridge to create a shortcut back to the main part of your camp, and then head inside the temple. There’s a path through the trees that will lead you around to a new area with a wooden drawbridge. Take those as far down as you can, and then turn to the west (bottom left).
Past the barn, you’ll spot some new piston pads that will launch you farther to the south. From the mission select table, head to the southeast. Before you can start collecting runes, you’ll need to visit a new area in your camp.
